The main purpose of this website is to provide opportunity for students and their parents to be informed concerning expectations of HMS vocal music classes. This includes details on events relating to class performances. Forms, schedules, and various music links are provided on these pages for your convenience.
Visitors to this site will also have a look at our activities. All of us concerned with HMS vocal music are proud of what our students have accomplished over the years.
Among the goals of HMS Choral Music are:
1. To develop excellence for singing in young voices.
2. To develop an appreciation of quality music.
3. To foster a sense of teamwork and the ability to work with others of differing backgrounds and viewpoints, united by music.
4. To encourage leadership skills through the acquisition of behavioral skills learned in this pursuit.

Theater Opportunities for Younger Students in Herington Schools
Opportunities for participation in theater productions exist for both USD #487 Herington elementary and middle school age students.
